Field Trip! ASU Polytechnic S.T.E.M. Re-Cap, September 30, 2013

Hi all! I had so much fun at a homeschool S.T.E.M. field trip (which stands for science, technology, engineering and math). I am going to tell you what we did!
First, we arrived there and noticed how little people attend the school! I loved the simplicity of the campus and the fact that people rode their skateboards around!
Next, we attended a short speech about the college and how S.T.E.M. is a good field. I love math and science so maybe my career will involve it. We then saw that some of our friends were there and we got name tags. We stayed doing projects with them the rest of the day. We headed off to one of the three choices for projects.... building a marble slide drop with pipes and wood. We tried to make it go down as slow as possible and left it there for some other team to build on.
Our second project was a paper car with paper wheels pulled by a balloon that was attached to a straw. Our's didn't go fastest, but we saw where we went wrong.
Our last project was making a paper roller coaster for marbles. One of the college student demonstrators  had made a huge one, and it was amazing!
Last we went to eat lunch at the huge buffet. You paid $8 and got any type of food in any amount you wanted. When I mean any type, I'm saying they had Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, American and dessert food!
I had SO much fun, and below are some photos!
